Exchanged to Maastricht University, Netherlands
What Aldo says
“Going on the exchange program is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I learnt countless things there and my English has also improved since.”
“I have to admit that travelling is one of the best parts of an exchange program; along with the people I met. For my first big trip, I went to Paris, France on a tour held by my host university. I also travelled extensively around the Netherlands and often visited neighbouring countries such as Belgium and Germany”.
About Maastricht University
“At Maastricht, we used the PBL (problem based learning) system in the class which encouraged students to be actively involved in discussions. In each class, we were required to lead one or two class discussions from time to time. This really helped build my critical thinking and speaking skills”.
“Maastricht University is a very popular destination for students on exchange. My classes had students from Korea, Singapore, Brazil, Canada, France, Switzerland and myself originating from Indonesia. Even our class tutor was from Germany! To be honest, this was one of the best classes I have ever had”.
“Since there are a lot of exchange students at Maastricht University, the student association organized for a lot of activities over the semester. My favourite was the travel packages because of the student-friendly prices and fun nature of the trips”.
