International Exchange | University of Exeter, United Kingdom

What Phyllis says

“Being so far away from home, my first study abroad experience has certainly taught me how to be independent. From learning how to cook proper meals to doing my own laundry for the first time, I have come across many obstacles, but looking back, I realised that I have learnt a lot more in the past four months here than in the past four years at home, especially in terms of life skills and communication skills.“

Thoughts on the International Exchange program

“I strongly believe that this exchange experience is indeed a turning point in my life, from being someone who is comfortable in her surroundings to being someone who is not afraid to constantly challenge herself. This is an experience that I will always remember and cherish, and I strongly encourage students to study abroad for at least one semester – you will be surprised at how much you will learn about your own identity and culture by living in a foreign land!”

Life in the UK

“I greatly recommend the University of Exeter, especially for those who are looking for a change from the hectic city rush and want to get a feel of the true English countryside. Exeter is situated strategically among green, rolling hills and wonderful beaches are merely half an hour’s drive away. Thus, a short weekend getaway is never too difficult, as public transport is also very efficient here. “
