The Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) unit ensures compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022 (Act A1648) and all health, safety and environmental regulations pertaining to Monash University Malaysia (MUM).

The Monash University Malaysia OHSE units communicate and consult to promote the safety, health and well-being of staff, students, contractors and visitors. Innovation is encouraged, and the University takes a systematic approach to identify, assess and control OHS hazards and to identify OHS opportunities.
