Operations Management Office (OMO)

The Operations Management Office (OMO) at the Monash School of Pharmacy supports the efficient operation and governance of the School. It oversees key functions including resource planning, finance, human resources, facilities, and compliance with University policies. OMO plays a critical role in coordinating school governance processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements. In partnership with academic and professional staff, the Office also supports teaching, research, and engagement through streamlined systems and strategic planning. As part of the OMO portfolio, the Head of School Office provides high-level executive support in areas such as official reporting, committee servicing, internal communications, and strategic coordination.

Education Management Office (EMO)

The Education Management Office at the Monash School of Pharmacy provides comprehensive administrative support for the School’s education programs. The team works closely with academic leaders, teaching staff, and central University services to ensure the effective delivery and quality assurance of coursework programs. Key responsibilities include course and unit administration, student support services, timetable coordination, placement administration, academic progress management, and support for education-related projects and initiatives. The Office plays a critical role in enhancing the student experience and ensuring compliance with University policies and regulatory requirements.

Research Management Office (RMO)

The Research Management Office at the Monash School of Pharmacy provides dedicated administrative and strategic support for the School’s research activities. The Office works closely with academic researchers, research centres, and central University research services to facilitate research development, internal grant administration, ethics and compliance processes, and research performance reporting. The Office also supports and coordinates school-level research training by managing Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidature. Through its work, the Office plays a key role in enabling research excellence, fostering collaborations, and supporting the School’s broader research strategy and impact agenda.

Laboratory Management Office (LMO)

The Laboratory Management Office at the Monash School of Pharmacy oversees the day-to-day management and operation of the School’s laboratories. The office is responsible for the preparation and delivery of laboratory practical, maintenance of research labs and equipment, procurement of supplies, and enforcement of health, safety, and regulatory compliance. The office also supports any lab-related activities and provides sample servicing for selected instruments. The office works closely with academic staff and researchers, providing technical support to ensure that laboratory spaces are safe, well-maintained, and able to effectively support the School’s teaching and research activities.
