3MT: Congratulations to Aathira Sujathan Nair

We are delighted to congratulate Aathira Sujathan Nair from the School of Pharmacy on her remarkable achievement in the MUM Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals competition.

In a mere 180 seconds, Aathira captivated the audience with her presentation titled "Glowing Tags: Spotting Breast Cancer Cells," earning her the esteemed First Place Award during the Monash Malaysia campus round held on 21 May 2024. Her groundbreaking PhD research, under Dr Thet Thet Htar's supervision, focuses on developing fluorescence probes to detect breast cancer cells, aiming to aid in early detection and treatment amidst rising breast cancer cases.

As she advances to the Monash University Final (Live) at Australia in August 2024, we send our best wishes for her continued success. We also extend our appreciation to the esteemed judging panels for their discerning evaluation.
