Handing-over Ceremony of the Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC)

In a moment of triumph, the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia celebrated the official handover of its new Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC) at a ceremony on 05th March 2024. The event marked a significant leap forward in pharmacy education, as the cutting-edge ADC promises to elevate teaching and learning across various units.

The ceremony featured a concise presentation highlighting the ADC's advanced features, emphasizing its role in real-time medication tracking, dosage verification, and enhanced inventory management—a boon for students' practical learning.

A sincere thank you resonated through the ceremony, acknowledging the crucial support from our industrial partner Omni-Health, whose collaboration turned the vision into reality.  The partnership underscored the shared commitment to fostering innovation in pharmacy education. Gratitude was also extended to our Head of School- Prof Gan Siew Hua and Deputy Head (Education)- Dr. Mark Cheong Wing Loong, together with the initiative's leader, Dinesh Ramachandram, whose dedication to advancing pharmacy education set the stage for this milestone.

With the ADC now in place, the Bachelor of Pharmacy program stands poised to offer an enriched learning experience, preparing students for the dynamic challenges of the pharmaceutical landscape.
