World's Top 2% Scientists List by Stanford University

Prof Gan was ranked for her research publication citation for the subject of “Clinical Medicine” under the subfields of “Pharmacology & Pharmacy” and “Medicinal & Biomolecular Chemistry” for the year 2021. She is passionate about honey and honey products research and recently won a Silver medal in the ITEX convention in KLCC in 2022. Together with her other team members and an Industrial partner, they have developed a new propolis formulation. “I am thankful to have the support of a good working environment and excellent colleagues in Monash who have helped me achieve the success that I desire. I will continue to put in my best effort in my work”.

Prof Shaun Lee has once again been included into the list of top 2% researcher globally, following his appearance on the list over the past 2 years. The number of citations of any scientific publications is one of the indicators for determining research visibility. The research carried out by Prof Shaun is looking at how to enhance and improve healthcare systems especially in low-middle income countries, with the aim of improving health and well-being of the population.
