"Where Emerging Researchers Meet Leading Clinicians to Advance Gut Health."

On the 18th and 19th of October 2025, three PhD students of our team attended the Asia Pacific Neurogastro Foundation Course in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with both researchers and clinicians in the field and learn about their recent work on Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI).

The course provided valuable learning opportunity that added depth and new perspectives to how we analyse our data. Importantly, it also had a strong clinical focus, highlighting the real-world impact of DGBI and the way it affects patients physically and mentally. These experiences help to shape our research, guiding us toward results that are both biologically and clinically meaningful in understanding these complex disorders.
