"Empowering Citizen Science Starts with a Conversation — and Sometimes, a Poop Sample"

Our 1000MY Microbiome outreach team had a great time engaging with students and staff at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) KL campus, alongside Alpro Pharmacy Sdn Bhd’s female health awareness event. This session focused on increasing participation among Malay and Indian populations, with strong engagement from students and university staff. We’re encouraged by the positive response and look forward to advancing microbiome research through inclusive, community-driven efforts — thank you to everyone who took the time to learn more and be part of this citizen science movement!
