Our Research

The School of Pharmacy attracts high caliber researchers and the best postgraduate students who share and enjoy a rich interdisciplinary research and learning environment. Research at the School is structured around three focus areas that closely align with the national health priorities. These are health economics, drug discovery and development, and clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice.

Researchers in the School regularly publish papers in international journals and present their work at major national and international conferences. Some of the researchers are members on editorial boards of leading international journals. Many are also involved actively in engagement with the community, pharmaceutical industries and professional bodies.

The various research areas of the School are divided as follows:

  • Health economics
