The following information applies to:

  • Current IT students applying to transfer into another IT course
  • Monash students from other Schools applying to course transfer to an IT course

Eligibility and Selection

  • Selection for course transfer is a competitive process and approval is subject to the availability of places in each degree.
  • The average required to be offered a place in a course may be higher than the percentage listed below as the strength of the applicant pool and the places available vary from year to year.
  • We use the entire academic record as part of the selection considerations.
  • SFR grades are not included in the WAM calculation.

Bachelor of Computer Science (C2001)

  • completed at least 12 credit points of a Monash   University course

Other non-IT undergraduate courses

Bachelor of Computer Science (C2001)

Bachelor of Computer Science in Data Science (C2001)

  • completed at least 12 credit points of a Monash   University course
  • minimum WAM required is 60%
  • meet the course requisite of year 12 higher maths
