How to Apply

Monash University, Malaysia students

Step 1: Check if you have met the pre-requisite for FIT3162 Computer science project 2

Step 2: Complete the Enrolment Amendment Form

Step 3: Student will received Notification Note from the online form system if the application is successful ‘Approved’ or ‘Rejected’ .

Step 4 : Check Web Enrolment System (WES) for confirmation of enrolment and allocate your timetable.

Step 5: Fee invoice can be obtained from fee calculator. Students are required to make payment by the specified dates stated on the fee invoice email.

Monash University Australia and South Africa Campuses students

You must seek course advice and faculty approval from your home campus for unit(s) you wish to enrol at Malaysia campus to ensure no disruptions to your course progression.

Step 1:

Before applying for the program, arrange an appointment with your Faculty course adviser to confirm your eligibility via a course progression check and obtain their approval for you to complete the program.

Each faculty has its own program approval process, so be sure to read the details pertaining to your faculty on our faculty contacts page prior to booking an appointment.

Step 2:

If your Faculty confirms your eligibility and provides you with their approval, complete the Summer at Monash Malaysia Application Form.

Forward a copy of your Faculty approval documentation (i.e.: approved course progression check) and your completed Summer at Monash Malaysia Application to norliza.ayub@monash.edu by:

  • 30th October 2020 (non-Malaysian students)

Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass to study in Malaysia. You are required to submit documents stated in the link student pass to facilitate the application for the student pass.

Step 3:

If your application is successful, Monash Malaysia staff will provide you with an offer via email which must be accepted by the stated deadline. Information on fees will be enclosed in your offer letter.

Step 4:

If you accept your offer in writing, Monash Malaysia staff will enrol you into the associated unit(s).

Step 5:

Once you have been enrolled, Monash Malaysia staff will send you an email confirming your enrolment into your chosen Monash Malaysia Summer Program unit(s) and will provide you with further instructions on how to register with Monash Abroad.

Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass to study in Malaysia. You are required to submit documents stated in the link student pass to facilitate the application for the student pass.

Cross Institutional Application (non Monash University students)

Students from other institution have the opportunity to study at Monash Malaysia. Please follow the steps below for registration.

Step 1: Obtain approval from your University/Institute for the unit(s) you wish to enrol at Monash University Malaysia.

Step2: Complete the Cross - Institutional Study Application Form (Summer).

Step 3: Send the form and the relevant documents to the address as stated on the form.

Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass/visa to study in Malaysia. You are required to attach documents stated in the link student pass to facilitate the application for the student pass.

If successful, you will be given an offer letter.

Discontinuation Date


To drop a unit, you must complete the Enrolment Amendment Form. Please refer to the discontinuation date as below:
