NVIDIA Deep Learning Workshop

On 25–26 September 2025, Monash University Malaysia hosted the NVIDIA Deep Learning Workshop, an intensive two-day online program designed to equip students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in artificial intelligence. Running from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day, the workshop provided a strong foundation in deep learning concepts, tools and techniques.

Hands-On Learning Experience

Participants engaged in interactive sessions that introduced them to the fundamentals of deep learning which including:

  • Understanding common data types and model architectures
  • Enhancing datasets through data augmentation to improve accuracy
  • Applying transfer learning to leverage pre-trained models for efficient results
  • Training and evaluating models with real-world datasets

The workshop emphasized active learning, encouraging students to collaborate, experiment and apply their skills in practical exercises.
