Getting around Sunway

Monash University Malaysia is located in Bandar Sunway (Sunway City), a township equipped with leisure, entertainment, education and residential facilities.

Commuting around Bandar Sunway (Sunway city) has never been easier! You can make your way around Bandar Sunway on foot using the Canopy Walk, ride on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), use a rideshare facility (GrabCar) or hop onto the free Sunway Shuttle Bus Service.

Sunway Shuttle Bus

The Sunway Shuttle Bus service runs every 45-minute intervals (subject to traffic conditions).

The operation hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday

7.00am to 10.15pm

Saturday & Sunday

11.00am to 10.15pm

The Canopy Walk

This elevated, secure, four-kilometre walkway in Bandar Sunway connects our campus to the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the main campus gate to the mall. The Canopy Walk is monitored for safety by close-circuit television cameras.
