Your Monash Offer
Still have a unit you want to drop?
By week 4, you'll have a good understanding of your study load and the academic expectations of your school. This is also the time that your unit selection is finalised.
If you're still thinking of dropping a unit, here are the steps you need to take:
- First, have a talk with your school’s Course Management Office (CMO). This is for you to make sure that you don't drop units that are prerequisites for other units you plan take later.
- If you’re a local (Malaysian) student, you may log into WES to 'discontinue' the unit.
- Do the above by the census date (31 August) to avoid paying fees for the unit.
If you are an international student, your student pass (visa) condition requires you to study with a full time study load (ie 24 credit points per semester which is usually 4 units). We suggest that you talk to your Course Management Office and International Student Pass (ISP) office before making any changes to your enrolment.
