Orientation Week 23-25 October
Welcome to Monash University Malaysia campus!
Orientation week is your official start to your university life and we encourage you to attend the sessions organised for you.
Orientation week will help you to:
- Navigate your way around campus, discover facilities and services that’s offered to you.
- Find out about your school and prepare you for your studies.
- Make new friends and get involved in the social activities
To kick off your orientation journey, visit the Orientation website and plan your personalised orientation schedule via the orientation planner. There are heaps of activities organised just for you - see you there!
The orientation planner will be available on 23 September 2019.
Have you got your network account and your M-Pass? Refer to step 1 and 2 if you haven't.
Step 1: Get your Network Account
The Monash Network account is different from the Monash IT account that you have created before coming to orientation. This network account lets you access the computer lab PCs, WiFi and printing services at the University. You will gain access to your student home drive, and school drive to store your personal files with this Network Account. Click here to find out more information about your Monash Network account.

Step 2: Collect your M-Pass
Your M-Pass ID Card will be mailed to you via courier to a Malaysian postal address if you:
i) Submit this application by 4 October 2019; and
ii) Provide a valid Malaysian postal address
Do not meet any of the above? Not to worry as you may still submit your application and drop by our Student Services counter during orientation week for self-collection.
Using your student ID card
Your student ID card is called an M-Pass. You can use it to:
- add credit to pay for printing and copying
- borrow books and resources from the library
- access secure venue
- identify yourself on campus and at exams.
