Survival tips
Settling into university life can be both exciting and daunting. To help you adjust, let us provide you with a brief of what to expect during your time at Monash University Malaysia.
Malaysia is made up of a multi-cultural society where people of different races and cultures co-exist. Should you be staying in Sunway city, there are times when you may want to visit new places as part of your experience here. Always let somebody know where you will be and do some research before you attempt new experiences.
Social events and activities
Consider getting involved in campus events and activities so you can learn more about the cultures and assimilate better into the country. We also encourage you to get acquainted with country representatives of Monash University International Student Services (MUISS).

Emergency Contacts
Be mindful of potential risks and stay alert especially when you are off-campus. Malaysians are a friendly lot, but like all major cities, it is wise to always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings.
On-campus, if for any reason, you are concerned about your own or someone else's safety, you can contact the Security or Student Emergency Helpline.
