420x297cm Watercolour Wet on Wet An interpretation of 'the scream' painting by Edvard Munch. The scribbled version of the painting expresses the chaos and madness during the pandemic, people were in turmoil and confusion. the original art work was accompanied with two figures behind, but 'don’t scream' excluded them symbolizes the current situation during the pandemic - cold and uncertain future with loneliness. However as time goes by, the pandemic pushes the limit of humans showing their true colours of selfishness and narcissistic. Even though people are devastated, but what is more disheartening is the human’s scream in fighting the pandemic with cold and heartless position. 'don't scream' is a reminder to us to spread a little care and love to people around us and not scream.
