BIO-Trans Researchers Awarded FRGS Grant 2024

Congratulations to three CNZT members under the BIO-Trans theme for securing more than RM 450,000 in the latest round of the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) offered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia! Professor Wu Ta Yeong, Associate Professor Arshad Adam Salema, and Dr. Chew Mei Leng are the CNZT members among the 12 researchers from Monash Malaysia who were awarded the grant. Their work ranges from investigating the solvent extraction of useful compounds from oil palm biomass to developing advanced materials for energy storage applications.
