CNZT team bestowed with China-ASEAN Cooperation Star Award

A team from the Centre for Net-Zero Technology (CNZT) celebrated their recent win of the Cooperation Star Award at the 3rd ASEAN-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (CAIEC).

The team, led by Professor Chong Meng Nan (Director of CNZT), and consists of CNZT Research Fellows (Dr. Yaw Chong Siang, Dr Ng Wen Cai, Dr Joshua Soo Zheyan), have presented a research-business proposal titled “Circular Approach to Solar-Driven Green Hydrogen Production using Biomass-Derived Carbon Photoelectrodes”. This proposal is developed in close collaboration with Professor Song Xueping from Guangxi University, China.

CNZT joined a small and distinguished list of institutions in ASEAN and China in receiving the award, which further exemplifies its strong commitment to ASEAN-China research collaboration and endeavour to be a beacon of net-zero research in the broader ASEAN region. Congratulations to the team members for this amazing success!
