MyDispense is an online pharmacy simulation platform that enables learners to practise dispensing, counselling, decision-making, and safe pharmacy practice through realistic scenarios in a structured learning environment.

By allowing repeated practice in a safe setting, MyDispense helps learners build confidence, competence, and professional judgement before entering real-world practice.

Our Vision

The MyDispense Malaysia Community of Practice aims to support the growth of simulation-based pharmacy education and training in Malaysia by:

  • fostering collaboration among pharmacy educators, trainers, and institutional representatives;
  • sharing good practices and implementation experiences;
  • supporting the localisation of MyDispense for the Malaysian context;
  • increasing awareness and adoption of MyDispense across institutions;
  • enhancing learner readiness for practice through authentic and practice-relevant simulation.

  • RESEARCH

    Research activities help identify local needs, evaluate feasibility, and inform future implementation of MyDispense-related initiatives.

  • MODULE DEVELOPMENT

    Module development activities focus on creating structured learning and assessment resources for different learner and practitioner groups.

  • LOCALISING AND ENHANCING MYDISPENSE

    This area focuses on improving the relevance and applicability of MyDispense to Malaysian pharmacy practice and training needs.

  • WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS

    Workshops and training activities support awareness, capacity building, and practical implementation across institutions and practice settings.

The MyDispense Malaysia initiative continues to grow through several interconnected areas of activity that support pharmacy education, workforce development, and simulation-based learning. Many of these initiatives contribute to more than one area, including research, module development, localisation of MyDispense, and workshops.
