April 2026

The MyDispense Malaysia Working Group held its first online meeting to discuss the localisation of MyDispense to Malaysian pharmacy practice. Further meetings are planned to support the ongoing localisation process.

March 2026

Monash University Malaysia and Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (ILKKM) have been in discussion on the development of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) module for pharmacy technician students. Plans are underway to roll out a trial module in the fourth quarter of 2026.

January 2026

Monash University Malaysia and Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS) have been discussing the development of training modules for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Examples of potential training activities have been proposed as part of this collaboration.

November 2024

Monash University Malaysia, National University of Singapore (NUS), and Chungnam National University (CNU) have been meeting monthly to develop training modules related to MyDispense. A survey study has been conducted in Singapore and Malaysia to identify the need for an online training module.
