Preparation checklist
Before coming to the microstudio, make sure you have prepared the following:
✅ Content planning
Outline the key points or topics you'll cover in your recording to stay focused and organised.
✅ Script preparation
Have your script ready and rehearsed to ensure smooth delivery. Use a telemprompter during your recording to enhance your delivery, improve pacing and reduce the need for memorisation.
✅ Green screen = NO green attire
Avoid wearing green attire if you plan to use the green screen to prevent blending into the background.
✅ Pen drive or external storage device
Bring a pen drive or similar external storage device to save your video recording or Camtasia project. The internet connection can be slow at times when uploading your video.
✅ Microstudio login credentials
Use the Microstudio login credentials provided as certain settings have been programmed for a seamless recording experience. You can find these credentials on the Microstudio desks.
Alternatively, you can log in using your Monash network account. However, please note that the programmed settings won't be mirrored on your account.
