Get ready to present your work at TransformED 2026. These guidelines provide key information about your presentation format, timings, slide or poster requirements, and submission deadlines. Please refer to the section relevant to your presentation format.

The Workshop format is an interactive, hands-on session designed to engage participants in practical activities, discussion, collaboration, and applied learning.
Workshop format
- Session duration: One and a half (1.5) hours
Slides format
Please prepare your workshop slides using the following format:
- Aspect ratio: 16:9 widescreen (default)
- File type: Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint
- PDF files will not be accepted
Important details
- All workshop slides will be loaded onto the presentation laptop in advance.
- Please ensure your slides are final and ready for presentation before submitting them.
- Slide submission due date: 9 November 2026
The Oral Presentation format is a focused presentation track. This format is suited to presenters who want to share a clear story, argument, outcome, or reflection with time for audience questions and discussion.
Presentation format
Each session will include:
- Three oral presentations, with 15 minutes allocated to each presenter
- A shared 10-minute Q&A after all three presentations
- Presentations grouped around related topics, where possible
To support a clear and engaging session:
- Presentations are strictly limited to 15 minutes
- The timekeeper will display 5-minute and 1-minute cue cards during your presentation
Slides format
Please prepare your presentation slides using the following format:
- Aspect ratio: 16:9 widescreen (default)
- File type: Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint
- PDF files will not be accepted
Important details
- All presenters’ slides will be compiled into a single deck and loaded onto the presentation laptop in advance.
- Please ensure your slides are final and ready for presentation before submitting them.
- Slide submission due date: 9 November 2026
The Poster Presentation format is a visual showcase suited to presenters who want to visually communicate their work and engage in direct conversation with attendees.
Presentation format
All poster presentations will take place within a dedicated 35-minute poster session at the conference. Presenters should be available during the poster session to discuss their work and answer questions from attendees.
- Session duration: 35 minutes
- The timekeeper will ring the bell 5 minutes before the session ends.
Poster format
Please prepare your poster using the following format:
- Size: A1 (59.4cm x 84.1cm)
- Orientation: Portrait
- Canva Poster Template: Make your own copy in Canva
How to use the template?
- Click the Canva Poster Template link above.
- Click View template.
- Sign in to Canva and select Open in editor.
- Edit the template and add your content. Please do not change the poster size or orientation.
- Select Share, Download and PDF Print to download your final poster for printing.
Important details
- Poster presenters are responsible for printing their own poster.
- Please print your poster at A1 size (59.4cm x 84.1cm) with portrait orientation.
- Please bring your printed poster with you to the conference venue on 26 November 2026.
The Ideas that Transform format is a dynamic, fast-paced session designed to showcase practical teaching innovations that create meaningful change in higher education.
Presentation format
Each presenter will have 3 minutes to share one impactful idea, initiative, or teaching practice from their educational context.
To maintain the fast-paced and engaging format:
- Presentations are strictly limited to 3 minutes
- Presenters may use a maximum of 3 presentation slides
- When the bell rings, the presentation concludes immediately

- Maximum slides: 3 slides per presentation
- Aspect ratio: 16:9 widescreen (default)
- File type: Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint
- PDF files will not be accepted

Room equipment and support
Each session will have 2–3 TransformED team members overseeing the breakout rooms to support presenters and help the sessions run smoothly.
