Reviewers and reviewees should be able to access the peer review portal PeerView using their Monash login credentials.
A four-step process
Both Formative and Summative Peer Review of Teaching involve four steps. The process starts with the Reviewee performing a self-review of their teaching practice and giving information on the session they want to be observed. Next, the Reviewee and the assigned Reviewer will meet to discuss the teaching context and goals of the session to be observed. After this, the Reviewer will observe the reviewee's teaching, either face-to-face or real-time online, and provide feedback in a written report.
All Reviewers who conduct peer reviews and observe teaching have completed a training program. Many of the Reviewers are colleagues recognised for their teaching excellence and dedication to Education at Monash.
