The Monash Advanced Clinical Wound Practice Certificate (MACWPC) 2026 is a two-day on-campus program held at Monash University Malaysia. Hosted by the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the program is designed to bridge the gap between clinical theory and frontline wound care practice. Participants will engage with practising clinicians and academics across the latest developments in limb salvage, pressure injury prevention, and precision wound assessment.

Associate Professor Dr Lee Chin Yen
Associate Professor (Wound Care, Practice) MBBS (Monash, Australia); MSc Wound Healing and Tissue Repair (Cardiff, UK); Fellowship in Wound Healing (EAFWH)
A/P Dr Lee Chin Yen is an academic clinician-researcher at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, with a clinical and research focus on advanced wound care practice.
Dr Lee's work translates evidence-based wound care into routine clinical settings and contributes to strengthening healthcare delivery in partnership with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Through international collaborations across the Asia-Pacific region, Dr Lee actively engages in research dissemination and capacity building for healthcare professionals.
Aligned with Monash University's Impact 2030 strategy, Dr Lee's work bridges academic research, multidisciplinary care delivery, and equitable access to wound care services. Dr Lee serves as the Program Lead for the Monash Advanced Clinical Wound Practice Certificate 2026.
Associate Professor Dr Mohd Zurairie Mohd Zubir P.S.K., A.S.K.

A/P Dr Mohd Zurairie bin Mohd Zubir is an Associate Professor of Wound Care at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, with more than a decade of clinical leadership in advanced wound management. He previously served as Head of the Wound Care Unit at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II and as Head of Service for Wound Care at the Kelantan State Department of Health.
Dr Mohd Zurairie is a Board Member and Asian Representative of the European Association of Fellows in Wound Healing. His clinical and research interests span diabetic foot ulcer management, pressure injury prevention, surgical site infection control, and the application of advanced adjunct therapies — expertise he draws on directly in his lecture and workshop contributions to this program.
