Understanding and Managing ADHD in University

Date posted: 9 September 2026
Are you finding it hard to focus and start on your tasks & assessments? Perhaps it could be connected to an ADHD struggle.
Student Success Support & Counselling, Health & Wellness are organising a 2-hour ADHD workshop: “Understanding and Managing ADHD in University”.
In this workshop, you will:
- Understand how ADHD affects your brain’s focus and productivity (insights from a clinical psychologist)
- Learn practical study strategies to help you start and stay on tasks
- Explore support & resources on campus to assist you throughout your course
This workshop is open to all students — whether you have ADHD, suspect you might, or simply want better ways to initiate focus with your studies and assessments.
Note: This is a rerun of last semester’s workshop. The topics covered are similar, with a few revisions made based on participants’ feedback.
Location: Library Training Room 7103, Building 7, Level 1
Date/Time: 9 September, Wednesday / 10.00AM - 12.00PM
