Open educational resources
OERs are teaching, learning, and research materials in the public domain or which have been licensed via Creative Commons to grant free and perpetual permission to engage in one or many of the 5R activities (retain, reuse, revise, remix or redistribute).
The Library has designed this self-paced module to foster understanding of OER in the broader context of open education practices. You may access the OER Awareness Module via MyDevelopment. (To register for the session please log in to my. monash . Click on the my.Development icon and thereafter, click on the links provided in this post.)
The Searching OER Resources how-to QuickGuide will provide you with an initial guide on how to search for and discover OERs that might be of interest to your area of study and teaching.
If you need assistance from the Library to locate OERs, please submit your request using the OER support form.
