Placing hold

You may place a hold if you need an item that is being borrowed by someone else. We will reserve the book for you to borrow once it is returned and is available. A notice is sent for Hold items that are available for collection. Hold items must be collected within 3 days at the Information Services Counter on Level 1.

You cannot place a “hold” on the following items/ circumstances:

• Items with status 'Available' in the catalogue
• Blocked membership
