Something for your Mind

On Saturday 25 April 2015, the Monash Malaysia campus held its first ever community engagement event called Discover Monash : Something for everyone. The Library team contributed to the activities of the day in the "Something for your mind” track and welcomed and engaged with the crowd of teachers, students, parents and alumni. The library team was on hand for a show and tell poster presentation entitled ‘Libraries are in the knowledge business’ and library tours. Librarians engaged with the young and old relating as academic partners for lifelong learning. Library rovers mingled with the crowd and invited visitors, and as the visitor preferred, they ‘Discovered : something for their mind’ and the library environment. Prior to the start of the various activities scheduled at the Campus, the team gathered for a photo to mark the LLC’s participation and contribution to Discover Monash : Something for everyone, the first community engagement event for the Campus.
