A new database from Adam Matthew, East India Company, is now available for trial through the Library and Learning Commons. Students and staff can access this database during the trial period which ends on 8 February 2017. This digital resource makes available a vast collection of primary source documents ranging from the Company’s charter to Indian independence in 1947. It archives over 1.2 million pages of digitised content on the Company’s trade with the East to the rise and fall of the British Empire. It includes charters, treaties, minutes and correspondence of the British Empire and is published in three modules. Please try this database and provide feedback on its use and content for your research and teaching.
The East India Company trial is available on the database trials webpage until 08 February 2017.
