Welcome to the Monash University Malaysia Graduate Research Office (MUMGRO) website. We are the central office responsible for managing the graduate research journey, from initial inquiry to thesis completion in Malaysia. We work closely with Monash schools, faculties and the Monash Graduate Research Office (based in Australia).

This website offers essential information and links to kickstart your graduate research journey at Monash University Malaysia. Monash University is a highly ranked global university that offers a wealth of resources for commencing your research journey.

Should you choose to study at Monash University Malaysia, you will be joining a vibrant community of over 500 graduate research students spread across seven different schools. Many of them are on scholarship, and  enjoy global mobility grants and tuition fee waivers. You can find out further information about scholarships here.

MUMGRO is committed to addressing your inquiries regarding pursuing a Master's by Research or PhD with us. Should you choose to study at Monash University Malaysia, we'll guide you through the 'Expression of Interest' and 'Application' stages, support you during enrolment, and eagerly anticipate your presence at the Campus induction.
