To enrol in this program, you must be:
- An active Pharmacy student, or
- An active undergraduate student with basic knowledge in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering
Required Document: A verification letter from your university or institution confirming your current enrollment.
By registering for the Pharmaceutical Industry Skills Development Program (PISDP), participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Attendance is mandatory for all sessions.
- You must follow Monash University safety guidelines at all times on campus.
- Monash University will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury during this program.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of Monash University at all times.
- You are required to give a minimum of one (1) month’s advance notice to reschedule your attendance. Failure to provide the required notice will result in no refund.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations or missed sessions.
- You are expected to uphold the confidentiality of information disclosed during the program.
- You are responsible for arranging your own travel and/or medical insurance. Monash Malaysia does not provide insurance coverage for participants attending this program.
- Monash University reserves the right to cancel the program at any time and for any reason. In the event of cancellation, participants will receive a full refund.
- Monash University reserves the right to change the program schedule, instructors, or content as necessary.
- You are responsible for your own accommodation, transportation, meals, beverages, and any other related expenses.
- You must notify Monash University of any disabilities or special needs at least two (2) weeks prior to the program.
- Participation in this program does not guarantee future employment or any specific outcome.
- Monash University may modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes in writing.

| No. The program is designed to enhance industry-relevant skills and exposure but does not guarantee employment or specific career outcomes. | ||
| 5 | Is attendance mandatory? | |
Yes. Attendance for all sessions is required. Certificates will only be issued to participants who complete all scheduled sessions and required activities. | ||
| 6 | What happens if I miss a session? | |
| Participants who miss any session may not be eligible to receive the certificate. Missed sessions cannot be replaced, rescheduled, or refunded. | ||

| No. This program is conducted fully on campus and requires physical attendance. | ||
| 8 | Will the University assist with visa applications? | |
| Participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa where required. A program confirmation letter may be provided to support your application. | ||

| Lecturer, Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology Dr Nagashekhara Molugulu is a distinguished pharmaceutical professional with 26 years of cross-functional experience spanning industry and academia. His unique techno-commercial expertise was forged through five years of hands-on leadership in manufacturing (solids, liquids, and semisolids) and Pharmaceutical marketing and sales, resulting in the successful launch of numerous formulations across national and international markets. A dedicated educator for over two decades, Dr Nagashekhara has spent 21 years mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, bridging the gap between theoretical science and industrial application. An accomplished researcher, has authored numerous articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals. |
| Associate Professor, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Associate Professor Mahendran Sekar is an academic at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia, and serves as the External Engagement Lead. Recognised among the Stanford University Top 2% Scientists, his research focuses on natural product–based drug discovery, nanotechnology-driven drug delivery systems, and translational pharmaceutical sciences. He is passionate about advancing pharmacy education through active learning, research-led teaching, and strong industry collaboration to enhance student employability and global exposure. Dr. Mahendran has supervised numerous postgraduate and undergraduate students and has published widely in high-impact journals, translating scientific discoveries into clinically relevant and commercially viable healthcare solutions. |
| Lecturer, Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology Dr Xin Yi Teoh is a dedicated pharmaceutical researcher with a strong academic background in innovative drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies. She has a strong interest in exploring innovative pharmaceutical technologies to translate lab-based innovations into practical healthcare solutions. As an early-career researcher and educator, she has mentored numerous undergraduate and junior postgraduate students during her postgraduate and postdoctoral training years. She has been actively involved in local pharmaceutical technology-related societies and disseminated her research outputs through high-impact journal publications and conference presentations. Xin Yi is deeply committed to advancing the pharmaceutical sciences through collaborative research, academic mentorship and continuous scientific exploration. |
