Enriched Experiences in the Field, Global Immersion Guarantee and Special Topic in Social Science November 2023 & January 2024 Monash University Malaysia (MUM) hosted a total of 173 Monash Australian campus students, along with 30 MUM students, as part of the Global Immersion Guarantee (GIG) and its sister unit, AMU2455: Special topic in social science respectively. Students from all study majors, including engineering, social sciences and business, spent two weeks immersed in activities at various locations across Peninsular Malaysia that aided them in expanding their understanding about environmental impacts of human socio-economic and political activities.
Campus Community Engagement (CCE) Program December 2022 - February 2023 Learn what it’s like to work at an NGO and work as a team to contribute to positive social change. CCE is a Summer Programme open to students from various fields that gives students an opportunity to apply theory to practice.
TATU: An Exhibition on Tattoos and Identity 16 March 2020 - 17 April 2020 Why do people get tattoos and what meanings do they make of them? The project began with these two simple questions. In searching for the answers, TATU showcases the diverse stories of people who get tattooed and people who practice the art of tattooing.
