Inclusivity at Monash University

The aim of this fellowship is to understand and broaden parameters of inclusivity for teaching and learning at Monash University Malaysia

Driving Inclusive Change in Higher Education

In the next two years, Dr. Nadiah endeavors to contribute to specific outcomes that can positively impact educational reforms, making the Monash University Malaysia campus more intentionally inclusive.

To achieve this, she plans to evaluate what it means to be inclusive at the campus level for educators, students, and professional staff members, both normatively and aspirationally. Conversely, she aims to identify blind spots in inclusivity, partly by comparing the campus's standards and practices with those of other academic institutions.

As part of this process, Dr. Nadiah intends to create a collaborative exercise, providing various members of the institution an opportunity to contribute to the discourse and take ownership of the process outcomes, which will be synthesized into practical recommendations.
