MUM-PMP Seminar 2/2024, 30th May 2024
Seminar Details:
Date: 30th May 2024, Thursday
Venue: 4-2-03, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia
Time: 10am - 12pm
Topics:
Topic 1: Recombinant Protein Purification Made Easy, Dr Henry Tan
Cytiva™ Protein Select™ technology, an affinity chromatography resin for purifying recombinant proteins using the self-cleaving and traceless Cytiva™ Protein Select™ tag. In this seminar, we will be sharing more on how the new protein select resin support in the research of recombinant protein purification and process development.

Topic 2: Giving your research a better chance of success starting with primary tissue dissociation, William Tan
Tissue dissociation is a fundamental step in any research projects that involve cells derived from primary tissues from humans or animal models. Current methods have been a key problem to insufficient and “low-quality” cells for subsequent research experiments, which often results in poor and inconsistent results.
By arresting the issues at its root case, with a fast and gentle tissue dissociation, high-quality viable single cells can be achieved, necessary for downstream molecular diagnostics and research applications.
Combining the success of our industry-leading cell therapy platform, we will discuss how Cytiva’s new tissue dissociation can give you better results.
