The Agilent 6550 iFunnel Quadrupole Time-of-Flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometer delivers the lowest detection levels of any high-resolution LC/MS instrument. By incorporating Agilent Jet Stream technology and dual-stage ion funnel, the system can achieve a 10-fold increased sensitivity for selected molecules compared to an earlier generation Q-TOF. With the combination of ChipCube interface, the robust Agilent 6550 i-Funnel Q-TOF system can process protein/peptide samples derived from various backgrounds, including plant, snake venom and microorganisms, such as viruses, bacteria and fungi, blood plasma and serum. Yet still, manage to give reproducible results. Despite being set to specifically process protein/peptide samples, the system's configuration is interchangeable according to the desired setup for analysing various samples to meet the ever-increasing demands from clients.
