Beginner's Guide To Machine Learning

This workshop is designed for students and staff who are curious about the fundamentals of machine learning. This interactive session will introduce key concepts of machine learning, including Linear Regression, Artificial Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and Decision Trees, in a beginner-friendly way, covering basic algorithms, applications, and tools commonly used in the field. Participants will gain hands-on experience using real-world datasets and accessible platforms like R and MS Excel to build simple models and interpret their results. No prior coding or machine learning experience is required - just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn!
