Mukim Sungai Segamat Technical Committee Meeting and a Meeting with Participants of the Community-Based Heat Adaptation and Research Project

The session was attended by Mr. Jasni bin Hussein (Village Head of Kampung Tahang Rimau), Mr. Yazil bin Abd Ghani (Village Head of Felda Kemelah), Mr. Mohamad Nasir bin Fairin (Village Head of Felda Medoi), and Mr. Suhaimi bin Suboh (Village Head of Kampung Tengah), together with SEACO committee members and project participants.

The programme aimed to provide information and facilitate discussions on structural interventions, particularly the application of white roof coating as a community-based heat adaptation strategy.

The session was also attended by Mr. Aireen Hazry Mohd Sahir, Managing Director of Examedia Technocraft, the contractor appointed by Monash University Malaysia for the implementation of this project.

Also present were Associate Professor Dr. Naganathan Pillai, Associate Professor (Clinical) at the Monash Segamat Medical Precinct, and Dr. Hamimatunnisa Johar, Research Fellow, who shared information and addressed questions from the participants. A total of 32 participants attended the session.
