The goal was to develop an educational module for heat adaptation interventions. The themes of the educational materials focused on increasing awareness about hot weather, identifying symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, recognizing at-risk groups, and helping community members adapt to hot weather conditions.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Harith, representative from the Disease Control Division of the Ministry of Health Malaysia; Dr. Lau Hon Boon, Medical Officer of Health at PKD Segamat; Ms. Ulsha Anak Nicholl Ganuh, Health Education Officer at PKD Segamat; Senior Nurse Norazlina binti Azis, Nursing Supervisor at Buloh Kasap Health Clinic; Mrs. Zorillah Ab Hamid, Chairperson of the Breast Cancer Support Society (BCSS) Segamat; and Mr. Choong Tow Siong.
