Medical Data Science and AI for Healthcare Professionals equips healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, and postgraduate students with practical skills to understand, analyse, and apply healthcare data in real-world settings.
Designed around a hands-on, no-code learning approach, the program takes participants through three progressive phases — from building foundational data literacy to applying advanced AI tools in healthcare. Through interactive workshops, real-world healthcare case studies, practical activities, and expert consultations, participants will gain the confidence to work with data, uncover meaningful insights, and apply AI to clinical and research contexts.
By the end of the program, participants will be better equipped to make evidence-based decisions, develop data-driven solutions, and harness emerging technologies to support healthcare innovation and improve patient outcomes.
The primary aim of this program is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to leverage healthcare data, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, research capabilities, and organizational performance. The programme also prepares healthcare institutions for Malaysia's evolving Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) reimbursement landscape by integrating practical knowledge of casemix, clinical coding, and healthcare financial analytics into the application phase.
