SEACO Team at the Launch of National Enhanced Primary Health Care (EnPHC) 2017 Event

On 29 October 2017, the SEACO team took part in the launching of the National Enhanced Primary Health Care (EnPHC) 2017. The event was held at the Klinik Kesihatan Batu Anam (Batu Anam Health Clinic) and launched by Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam, Malaysian Health Minister. SEACO took part in the exhibition and presented the mDengue app, an application developed by Kridaraan, Norliza and Ameerul of the SEACO IT team, in collaboration with the Segamat District Public Health Office. The brains behind this project were both, Director of SEACO, Prof. Daniel Reidpath and former Associate Director, Prof. Pascale Allotey. Besides the mDengue application, SEACO also presented other electronic devices used during health screenings, like the ECG (electrocardiogram device) and tablets used to collect data.  Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam also emphasised on the significance of collaboration between the Ministry of Health and SEACO, at the event.
