SEACO’s Director meets Tok Batin Kampung Selai

Prof. Daniel Reidpath, SEACO's Director met up with Tok Batin Kampung Selai, Mr Achai @ Juti Bin Kais, on 4 December 2017. The session also was attended by Field Manager, Ruhaida Bachok; Assistant Field Manager, Nadia Saad and Community Advisor, Madam Kong. In this meet and greet session, they discussed on the projects held by SEACO. Prof. Daniel also explained how cooperation from the “Orang Asal” community may help SEACO in completing a research project that consists of various types of communities in Segamat. On the other hand, SEACO also obtained permission from "Tok Batin" to study on “Orang Asal” culture. We hope with this visit, we can create a better connection and relationship between SEACO and the “Orang Asal” community in the future.
