SEACO Booth Exhibition with Felda Pemanis State Legislative Assembly, YB Dr. Chong Fat Full

1 November 2020, Sunday - SEACO from Monash University participated in the Felda Pemanis Generation Carnival together with the Segamat Information Department, the Segamat National Anti-Drug Agency and other organisations. The event is being held to promote a drug-free community and to embrace the new norma. Felda Pemanis is one of the SEACO census areas under Jabi sub-district. Each health data conducted facilitates SEACO to identify the percentage of disease types, for example; the statistics of people with high blood pressure, cancer and so on in certain districts. Apart from tracking the level of health, size and economy of the population, the data will be shared with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the District Office to facilitate their planning of health development, facilities and health awareness programs. We hope the community in Felda Pemanis and another sub-districts that are involved in the SEACO survey and census will continue to support our research project.
