World Malaria Day!
25 April 2021, Sunday - Nearly 229 million people are infected with malaria each year worldwide. And of that number, more than 400,000 deaths are reported each year. However, Malaysia has managed to achieve ZERO cases of indigenous human malaria for three consecutive years (2018 to 2020) throughout Malaysia. This achievement has enabled Malaysia to apply for Malaria eradication certification from the WHO.
