30 March 2023, Thursday - Climate Change and Health Impact Monitoring Project through eHealth (CHIMES) at SEACO
Research Objectives
- To examine and assess the best health measurement approaches, utilizing device tools for climate change and health research in the SEACO Segamat area.
- To study climate change with a focus on investigating heat stress effects on the population around SEACO Segamat, with an emphasis on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and asthma.
Research Methods
- Data collection will involve survey questionnaires using digital forms, health measurements, wearable devices on the wrist, participant-installed home devices, spirometer screening for suspected COPD/asthma groups, and in-depth interview questionnaires (IDI).
