Delegation visit from Heidelberg University, Germany (PhD Student) to SEACO

On 21-23 November 2023, SEACO received a visit from Mr. Robin Simion (PhD Student), representative of Heidelberg University, Germany.

The visit to SEACO's office began with a presentation session to provide an overview of SEACO's operational activities. This was followed by a visit to the Sungai Segamat and Jabi sub-districts. In this visit, Mr. Robin Simion also had the opportunity to meet the Head of Kampung Jabi, Tok Mohd Rafe bin Md Yusof.

The program continued the next day with a visit to the Bekok sub-district to experience data collection and observe the data collection process for the Health Round 2023 Project. Additionally, the team took the opportunity to visit the Chaah Police Station to introduce key stakeholders of SEACO to Mr. Robin Simion.

SEACO extends its gratitude and appreciation to the representative from Heidelberg University, Germany, Mr. Robin Simion, for the time spent in jointly conducting the visit to SEACO and planning the upcoming CHIMES 2.0 research project.
