‘Gerak Mesra’ Program Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 4 Chaah Year 2023

9 September 2023, Saturday - SEACO, Monash University Malaysia was one of the agencies invited to the ‘Gerak Mesra’ Program for Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 4 organised by the Labis District Council in Chaah, Johor to provide free health check-up services. This program aims to increase awareness of health and well-being among the residents of this area.

Also participating in this program are Tuan Tan Chong, Member of the Johor State Assembly for the Bekok area, Mr Musa bin Muhamad Dar@Uchu, Member of the Labis District Council - Chaah Zone 1, Mr Chin Chen Woon, Member of the Labis District Council. Labis District Council - Chaah Zone 2 and Mr. Leong Kong Yong, Labis District Council - Chaah Zone 4.

During the program, SEACO, Monash University Malaysia provides free health screening services including blood pressure screening, blood glucose screening to measure blood sugar levels, Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement to understand body composition, health consultation sessions to give health advice and self guidance. In addition to free health check-ups, there is also a blood donation campaign and a colouring competition organised by the organisers.

Many thanks to the Labis District Councilors and everyone involved for inviting SEACO, Monash University Malaysia to jointly make this program a success. It is hoped that this good relationship can be maintained in the future.
