Madani Afiat State Level Johor Program 2

This initiative marks the fourth implementation of the Madani Afiat program and aligns with the Ministry of Health Malaysia's (MOH) vision outlined in the Health White Paper 2023. The paper emphasizes a paradigm shift from mere treatment to holistic healthcare, encapsulated within the Second Pillar. Notably, the program's core feature is the "Touch Point" endeavor, uniting top MOH management, community leaders, and medical teams to conduct comprehensive health screenings, spanning door-to-door interactions. This event also serves as a platform for collaborations between the Ministry of Health, government bodies, and private entities, offering diverse services to visitors including PeKa B40, Organ Donation Registration, KOSPEN, Usahanita, Breast Cancer Support Society, COMBI Segamat, and IKRAM Malaysia.

Furthermore, the program assumes responsibility for eradicating mosquito breeding sites, particularly within stagnant water bodies. By orchestrating such a comprehensive initiative, public awareness is heightened, emphasizing the importance of maintaining local hygiene standards. Consequently, this effort contributes to the reduction of dengue fever cases and similar illnesses.

We express our gratitude to the organizers for inviting SEACO to play a role in this national-level endeavor. We eagerly anticipate fostering this close collaboration to consistently ensure the welfare of our local community.
