Pink October Celebration 2023 in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month

28 October 2023, Saturday - SEACO was invited to the Pink October Celebration Program organised by the Breast Cancer Support Society Segamat (BCSS) at VIP Hotel, Segamat. This annual program aims to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and treatment and provide support to cancer fighters, family members, and close friends.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honourable Mr. Haji Anuar Abd Manap, State Assemblyman for Pemanis N.03, Johor State Legislative Assembly, representing the Pemanis area, who officiated the program. He also took the time to visit the exhibition booths and interact with the attendees and SEACO staff.

Various exciting prizes and interactive activities were provided, including a "ribbon puzzle," iron rod game, interactive games, bean bag, and interactive snake and ladder. All of these added vibrancy to the program.

The event was further enhanced by the presence of the University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), which offered free health check-ups to the attendees.
